Artist Statement

VISION is a reflection on purposeful movement—strength guided by direction. The horses move forward with power and grace, each occupying its own space, its own stride, its own lane. Though they share the same terrain, they are not in competition; they are aligned in motion.

The horse symbolizes strength, endurance, and divine design. Scripture reminds us that such strength is God-given. “Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?”— Job 39:19 (KJV). Yet strength without vision leads nowhere. Vision gives meaning to movement and direction to power.

Rooted in Proverbs 29:18, this work affirms that vision is essential for life and purpose. It is further echoed in the call to run patiently the race set before us, resisting distraction and comparison, just as the horses portray. “Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”— Hebrews 12:1 (KJV). Vision does not demand speed but gives speed; it requires clarity, discipline, and commitment.
