WHY WORRY

Worry is a state of mind. It looks harmless at first, but it quietly bears two fruits: stagnation and regression. It freezes movement and slowly pulls a person backward. When the mind is consumed with “what if,” it loses the strength to step forward in faith.

In this painting, the bird is not anxious. It is positioned on a living branch, reaching upward toward provision. The berries are above it — symbolic of promise — and the bird looks up, not down. Its posture is calm. Its environment is vibrant. Creation itself refuses stagnation. It grows, it reaches, it progresses.

The message of Why Worry is simple: worry arrests destiny, but trust advances it. With God, there is always movement. There is always growth. There is always progress. The kingdom of God is never static. When we shift our focus from fear to faith, from anxiety to alignment with His will, we move from regression into divine advancement.

Matthew 6:25–26, 33
“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

The bird does not stagnate in worry. It seeks upward. It trusts provision. It progresses naturally in the order of creation.

This artwork is a call to renew the mind. Refuse the paralysis of worry. Reject the backward pull of fear. Seek first the Kingdom — and watch life move forward again.
