Artist Statement

Patience is a visual reflection on the quiet strength required to produce greatness that endures. Inspired by the remarkable nature of the elephant, this Art piece speaks to the sacred process of time, growth, and purposeful waiting.

The elephant carries its young in the womb for approximately 22 months — one of the longest gestation periods in the animal kingdom. During this extended season of hidden formation, strength is being developed, structure is being perfected, and life is being prepared for impact. Unlike many animals that give birth to numerous offspring at once, the elephant typically gives birth to one calf at a time, yet that single birth emerges already strong, large, and capable of survival. What is produced slowly is produced with power.
